Baldwin Park Homeowners Association

Located in Meridian, Idaho, Baldwin Park is a premier neighborhood of over 300 homes. With a community swimming pool, winding pathways and plenty of open common space and playgrounds, Baldwin Park is a community for both young and old.

Christmas light vandalism

We've had some reports of Christmas light vandalism already. This morning the owners of a property on White Sands Dr. found that all of the large (C7) Christmas lights in front of their house had been broken and smashed.

All residents - please keep an eye out for this sort of thing and ask your children to let you know if they hear anything. A couple of years ago we had some problems with Christmas light vandalism that were resolved when one of the kids reported overhearing somebody at school bragging about it.

If you do hear or see anything, please contact Meridian Police at 377-6790.

2008 Holiday Lights Decoration Contest

It's time once again to get out your Holiday lights and decorate your house. Baldwin Park HOA is sponsoring the 5th annual Holiday Lights Home Decoration contest. The judging will again be done by the homeowners.

To participate, simply decorate your home and let me know that you wish to be a part of the competition. I will add a photograph of your home to the poll and registered Baldwin Park residents will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite home between December 15 and December 22.

Dennis Burks, President of Baldwin Park HOA called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. All homeowners in attendance were welcomed and notified of the sign in sheet, agenda and ballots.

End of Summer

The kids are back in school and summer is coming to a close.

The pool will close for the season after the weekend of September 13/14.

We have received a tentative date from Settlers Irrigation. We can probably expect irrigation water to be turned off after October 10.

And set aside the weekend of October 18 for our annual Fall Festival. More info on this will be coming soon.

Pool deck chairs

Many of you have noticed the shortage of deck chairs at the pool this year. Unfortunately after about 5 years of heavy use, the fabric has worn out and many of the chairs have ripped.

However Dennis recently found an upholstery shop who was able to replace the fabric for a reasonable price. We now have 6 more deck chairs available. We will have the others done after the end of the pool season.
