Attendees: Dwight Tovey, Stan Young, Richard Kelly, and Dan Olson.
- The minutes from the April meeting were reviewed and approved.
- The estimate to stain the fence in the common area off Yosemite & McKinley was approved from Angler fencing for $495
- The survey on the web site asking for input on using boulders as barriers on some of the walk ways is currently 5 no’s and 2 yes’s.
- No action yet on getting the board members shirts and some type of identification.
- A dvr upgrade for the pool security system was approved by the board for an additional $2318.45. The initial dvr proved to be inadequate.
- The following is the procedure agreed upon for handling sign violations:
- Common Areas:
The board will remove any signs from the common area and place them behind the natural gas chain link enclosure on Linder at the southwest end of Baldwin Park property. The realtor and/or homeowner will be contacted to retrieve the sign. - Homeowners’ property:
If someone places a sign in their yard or does anything contrary to the CCRs in their own yard, then a time line notice needs to be sent. MGM will be notified to send a letter to the address of the owner. If no correction is noted within 10 days, then the procedure will be moved to the next level.
- Common Areas:
- The pool committee’s charter was reviewed. Richard will get with the committee to review our recommendations.
- The pool appears to be ready for the opening this weekend:
- It was decided to try the water temperature at 78 degrees after some complaints about it being to hot last season.
- The rest room outer trim has been re-painted and the water heater turned on.
- New transition moldings were installed by Richard and Dan over the broken tile in both rest rooms.
- The broken window has been replaced.
- The tile has been repaired in the wading pool along with a temporary repair to some of the plaster.
- Any future requests for pool access codes will be forwarded to Dwight from MGM. Dwight will handle the code assignment and notification to the homeowner.
- We will get an estimate on replacing the entrance sign on Monument. The current sign is getting worn.
- Richard reviewed the financial status.
- The meeting was adjourned at 9:00.
- The next board meeting will be at 7pm on Tuesday, June 19th, at the Library Coffee House.
